Collection and processing of personal data

We attach great importance to the protection of your personal data and adhere to the prevailing legal provisions on data protection and data security. For this reason, we do not collect any personal data via our websites without your consent. When registering for the newsletter, to contact, as a visitor or for sponsoring enquiries, you yourself decide whether or not you wish to use this service and provide us with the necessary personal data. We use them to respond to your inquiry, process your order or provide you with access to special information/offers. As part of the newsletter subscription, your data will be transmitted to Cleverreach, a service provider that facilitates the creation, processing and dispatch.When you visit our website, we store accessing data.  In this case, we only collect information that is used for statistical purposes, whereby you as a visitor remain anonymous. Such information includes, for example, the time and duration of your visit to our website as well as the pages on which you have clicked. When you visit www.leag.de, so-called "cookies" are used (see below).

SSL encryption

Data processing in relation to our social media offerings

We maintain publicly accessible profiles in social networks Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, youtube, LinkedIn and Xing. Through these offerings, we want to ensure a broad range of information on the internet. This is a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 (1) lit. f DSGVO.

The social networks can generally comprehensively analyse your user behaviour when you visit their website or a website with integrated social media content (e.g. like buttons or advertising banners).

If you are logged into a network with your social media account and visit our social media presence, the operator of the network can assign this visit to your user account. However, your data may also be collected if you are not logged in and/or do not have an account with the respective network. LEAG currently operates the Facebook page LEAG Conference Centre @LEAGKCL and the closed Facebook group LEAG Training. Jointly responsible for the operation within the meaning of the GDPR are: Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd, 4 Grand Canal Square Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland and LEAG.

We are present on Facebook in order to draw attention to our services and products and to get in touch with you as visitors and users of these Facebook pages as well as our website. As operators of the Facebook pages, we have no interest in collecting and further processing your individual personal data for analysis or marketing purposes. 

The operation of the Facebook page including the processing of users' personal data is based on our legitimate interests in a timely and supportive information and interaction opportunity for and with our users and visitors pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f. DSGVO.

We are aware that Facebook processes users' data for the following purposes:

We use this data, available in aggregated form, to make our posts and activities on our Facebook pages more attractive to users. For example, we use the distributions by age and gender for an adapted address and the preferred visiting times of the users for a time-optimised planning of our posts. Information about the type of end devices used by visitors helps us to adapt the visual design of the articles accordingly. In accordance with the Meta Platforms Ireland Limited Terms of Use, which each user has agreed to as part of creating a Facebook profile, we may identify subscribers and fans of the site and view their profiles and other information shared by them.

LEAG on LinkedIn

LEAG is represented on LinkedIn with a company profile under LEAG and several brand profiles (LEAG energy cubes and MCR engineering Lausitz).

LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company (Ireland/EU - "LinkedIn") is solely responsible for the processing of personal data when you visit our LinkedIn profiles. Further information about the processing of personal data by LinkedIn can be found at de.linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy.

We place advertisements on LinkedIn. The targeting of advertising is a legitimate interest of our company. Our website uses the conversion tool "LinkedIn Insight Tag" of LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company. LinkedIn Insight is a JavaScript code that is embedded on our website. This is used to record the visits of LinkedIn members to our website. LinkedIn thus receives the information that you have visited our website and combines this with your profile data on LinkedIn in order to serve you targeted advertisements on LinkedIn about our company. We will send the reply to the registered address.

Deletion

We only store your personal data for as long as it is required to fulfil the purpose defined in advance. You have the right to have your data deleted immediately at any time. Should your request conflict with legal deletion periods or make it impossible to fulfil the purpose, we will inform you immediately.
